BENITO - available

Benito is around 1 years old
He is being fostered in Idaho
His adoption fee is $250

Benito likes to think he is bigger than he is and is a bit bossy with other dogs. He is friendly with them though. He does enjoy playing with them. He is also cat friendly! He came to us as a stray so not much is known of his past.

BEGONIA - available

Begonia is a year old
She is being fostered in Dupont, WA
Her adoption fee is $250

Begonia is a very affectionate and eager to please dog. She loves to bury her head under your arm and give love. She is housebroken and crate trained.
If you leave for a little while, and come back, she greets you with love, hugs and kisses. We have thoroughly enjoyed her spunky and playful behavior.  She gets along with my other dogs, but has a fear of cats.

LEROY - available

Leroy is around 5 years old
He is being fostered in Milwaukie OR
His adoption fee is $150

He doesn't like to walk on wet grass so I carry him out to the other side of the yard to the bark so he can start there, then he's okay with it.
When you walk him he's a handful and has a lot of energy which needs direction.
Another playful dog would be wonderful for him!
He will run full speed across the park at dogs/people and then stop about 3 feet short, playful and curious.
He sleeps under the covers with at the bottom of the bed or on the bed under a dog blanket or he will sleep in his dog bed but needs a blanket to burrow in.
He has a lot of typical Beagle traits from what I can tell: doggy smell, vocal, energetic, etc.

He would do best with another playful dog and an active family.

Adopting one of our dogs is a joyful time for everyone involved. Our volunteers have written brief bios for the adoptable dogs in their care, to help you decide on the right one for your family.

All OSCAR dogs are neutered/spayed, up-to-date on their rabies and distemper shots, and given microchip implants prior to adoption. As a rescue, we make every effort to have other necessary medical exams, tests, or procedures completed. Optional procedures are sometimes limited by financial restraints but you can trust that we will always be transparent regarding all needs.

We'll make sure the process goes smoothly, so you can begin sharing your life and creating wonderful memories with your new furry family member.
